Bangkok, Thailand - In a world where innovation reigns supreme and industries are constantly evolving, Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group has set its sights on a unique approach. Instead of chasing cutting-edge technology or complex inventions, the hospital group recognizes that "people are the most valuable innovation." Dr. Yongyuth Mayalarb, Executive Director of Communications and Development of Healthy Organizational Relations at Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group, revealed this novel perspective.

While the term 'innovation' often conjures images of advanced technology and intricate gadgets, Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group emphasizes the indispensable role of its human resources. Dr. Mayalarb emphasizes that the heart and minds of their team members are the driving force behind developing systems, tools, and innovations to enhance healthcare and improve lives.

"We believe that the most important asset of an organization is not just medical technology or world-class facilities. It's the potential, dedication, ability, and the willingness to continuously develop and empathize with those who receive our services. People are our most valuable asset, and fostering a strong People's Culture is paramount to our brand," Dr. Mayalarb emphasized.

At the core of Phyathai-Paolo's innovative philosophy are two essential attitudes: "Fight for Better" and "Growth Mindset." These principles are deeply embedded in the hearts of the hospital's personnel, motivating them to deliver exceptional healthcare services to the community.

"Innovation, for us, means finding solutions to problems and making things better. We believe that relentless pursuit of progress is fueled by an indomitable spirit. It's this spirit that drives our team to embrace learning, growth, and the continuous pursuit of excellence," stated Dr. Mayalarb.

Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group has a history of creating innovators who play pivotal roles as researchers in designing groundbreaking tools to simplify patient care. One such inspiring individual is 'Nuchjaree Kidjawan,' a dedicated nurse who recognized recurring challenges in patient care over the years. She took the initiative to redefine her role and earned the title of "Research Nurse," becoming the first of her kind in the hospital.

Nuchjaree, in collaboration with fellow nurses and engineers, has spearheaded over 400 innovative projects. Notably, her work led to the development of a "pressure relief mattress" that has proven invaluable in reducing pressure ulcers in patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group's commitment to fostering innovative thinking and empowering its team members highlights their dedication to delivering cutting-edge healthcare solutions and improving the well-being of the community they serve.
