ArokaGO Star Standards contains the standards in accordance with international standards. The ArokaGO accreditation for healthcare providers were developed through a comprehensive procedure that included a review of international and national evidence, consultation with key stakeholders, and the establishment of an advisory committee. Additionally, we wish to acknowledge GHA, AACI Asia Pacific, and Thai Medical and Wellness Travel Association (TMWTA) whose contributions have been invaluable in identifying the global needs of patients or clients.
The ArokaGO Stars is to provide comprehensive and independent oversight of healthcare service programs. The program is based on standards that describe the elements of three core competency areas that organizations must possess in order to provide care for medical and health travelers. These competency areas include Client-Focused Treatment Procedures, Customer Experience, and Sustainable Business Procedures. These standards were developed to assist Health Travel Programs in Thailand in achieving the highest quality, safety, and customer experience standards.
