Today, February 1, 2025, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) launched the Amazing Thailand Romance Month under the 2 BY 4 Global Campaign, delivering exclusive experiences to couples and LGBTQ+ travelers visiting Thailand in February 2025. The campaign introduces three special activities: Lucky Draw, FAM Trip, and Trade Meet, designed to provide a VIP-like travel experience as part of the Grand Privileges program. This initiative aims to boost both long-haul and short-haul international tourism during the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025.

A Special Global Marketing Campaign for Romantic Travelers

According to Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of TAT, Amazing Thailand Romance Month is part of a Global Marketing Campaign targeting international travelers by offering exclusive Grand Privileges. The initiative aligns with the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025, with the 2 BY 4 Global Campaign structured as follows:

- February – Amazing Romance: Couples & LGBTQ+ – Exclusive privileges for couples traveling in February 2025.
- April – Amazing Songkran: Hidden Gems & Family – Family-oriented travel experiences during the Songkran Festival in April 2025.
- August – Amazing Summer: Family & Multigeneration – Travel benefits for multi-generational vacations in August 2025.

The campaign is designed to expand Thailand’s tourism market and provide unique VIP-style experiences for travelers worldwide. February focuses on couples and LGBTQ+ travelers, such as millennial couples and those celebrating anniversaries. TAT has collaborated with top-tier Thai travel partners, including hotels and airlines, to offer customized travel services and packages to Hidden Gem destinations through activities like Lucky Draw, Trade Meet, and Media FAM Trips. These efforts aim to increase travel spending, enrich visitor experiences, and boost the overall tourism economy.

Special Activities in Amazing Thailand Romance Month

   - Romantic Tuk-Tuk Parade at CentralWorld
TAT kicked off Amazing Thailand Romance Month on February 1, 2025, with a tuk-tuk parade in front of CentralWorld, symbolizing Thailand’s warm welcome to tourists. The parade traveled through Siam Square and Sukhumvit, promoting the campaign across key tourist areas.

   - Lucky Draw: Exclusive Travel Privileges
From February 1–16, 2025, the Lucky Draw offers travelers special discounts, vouchers, and privileges, in collaboration with over 50 travel and retail partners, including:
- Hotel discounts
- Shopping gift vouchers
- Restaurant promotions
- Health & wellness services
- Exclusive tourism experiences

Lucky Draw events are held at four major international airports across Thailand:
- Suvarnabhumi Airport
- Don Mueang Airport
- Chiang Mai Airport
- Phuket Airport

Additionally, after February 16, 2025, special travel discounts will be available at participating shopping malls across Thailand.

TAT is also hosting two exclusive FAM Trips for international tourism representatives and media:

Mega Romantic FAM Trip (February 15–23, 2025) – A Bangkok to Krabi itinerary for tourism professionals, media, KOLs, and influencers to experience Thailand’s romantic travel offerings.

LGBTQ+ FAM Trip (February 10–16, 2025) – Tailored itineraries covering three LGBTQ+ friendly destinations:
Bangkok & Pattaya (Chonburi)
Chiang Mai
Koh Samui (Surat Thani)

Trade Meet: Strengthening Tourism Partnerships
To enhance B2B collaborations, TAT is organizing two major business networking events:

Amazing Thailand Romance Trade Meet – February 21, 2025, at Millennium Hilton Bangkok, with 50 international buyers and 60 Thai tourism businesses engaging in business negotiations.

Amazing Thailand LGBTQ+ Trade Meet – February 11, 2025, at House on Sathorn, W Bangkok, featuring 20 Thai tourism companies and LGBTQ+ market travel operators from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, and Australia. The event is expected to generate over 3,000 business appointments.
