The hospital was founded with a clear purpose – to provide medical services to employees working within the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate and the surrounding population. This industrial estate is a significant hub for various manufacturing and industrial activities.
The hospital's creation was the result of collaboration between Vibharam Hospital and the stakeholders of the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate. These stakeholders recognized the need for accessible and specialized healthcare services for the industrial workforce.
Before the hospital could be established, it underwent a period of environmental insurance that lasted for two years. During this time, plans for construction and operations were developed. Approval from the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) was also sought and obtained.
Vibharam Amata Nakorn Hospital is distinctive in that it was the first hospital to be located within an industrial estate. This innovative approach reflects the hospital's commitment to addressing the specific health challenges faced by industrial workers.
The hospital offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including occupational medicine, emergency care, outpatient and inpatient services, neonatal care, surgical services, and central supply of medical equipment and supplies. These services are tailored to meet the diverse medical needs of both industrial employees and the local community.
The hospital officially began its operations on December 4, 2014, marking a significant milestone in providing accessible and quality healthcare to the region. The emphasis on environmental insurance during the hospital's planning phase underscores its commitment to responsible and sustainable healthcare practices within the industrial estate.
